Qualifikationen

• Erste berufliche Erfahrungen als Systemadministrator im Bereich Debian Linux und Rollout-Systemen wie Saltstack.

Type of contract: Permanent onsite

Your tasks:

1. Team collaboration: You will strengthen the existing team with your expertise as a DevOps Engineer and work hand in hand with developers on scaling the systems in a fast-growing environment. You will also support monitoring and analyzing applications.
2. Taking ownership: You will manage and set up servers using centralized configuration via Saltstack, contribute significantly to the further development of the DevOps area, and help implement new process structures.
3. Improving products: You will be responsible for the setup, maintenance, and expansion of servers in the entire car rental domain, and implement backup and monitoring strategies as part of your daily tasks.
4. Bringing projects to life: You will enhance deployment processes (Continuous Integration) and take on the customization and creation of automation as well as automated system configurations (scripting).

Requirements

1. Practical experience: Initial professional experience as a system administrator in the area of Debian Linux and rollout systems such as Saltstack, Ansible, Puppet, or Chef. Ideally, you have had first contact with programming languages like Python or PHP.
2. Tech Stack: Good knowledge in working with the Shell and configuring NGINX, PHP-FPM, and MySQL (replication, backup, etc.). Basic understanding of network infrastructure and routing (firewall, VLAN, routing, etc.).
3. Digital mindset: Interest in learning Elasticsearch and Redis, along with enthusiasm and knowledge for Docker-based deployment environments is desirable.
4. Drive and spirit: Strong sense of quality, hands-on mentality, enjoyment of development, excellent communication skills, team spirit, and high motivation.
5. Language skills: Fluent German (business level) and good English skills.
