Zusammenfassung

PUMA is seeking a senior Kids Apparel Designer to drive end-to-end design from concept to final product, blending performance and street-inspired aesthetics. You will lead cross-functional teams with the Teamhead, translating market insights into compelling designs for our global kids collections.

With 6+ years in fashion design, fluency in English, and a strong eye for fabrics and innovative materials, you will mentor juniors, ensure design excellence, and align with Puma's 360° design concepts

Qualifikationen

  • Bachelor’s degree in design or related field.
  • Minimum 6+ years of experience designing for leading fashion/lifestyle brands.
  • Experience in Kids fashion or athletic/apparel is a plus.
  • Fluent in English.
  • Strong team player with adaptability and independent work ability.

Aufgaben

  • Lead end-to-end design process from concept to final product for Kids Apparel.
  • Drive innovation in design development with guidance from the Teamhead.
  • Integrate product and technical developments into design.
  • Ensure design content quality to strengthen brand and demand.
  • Collaborate with Graphic Team and FTW & Accessories for holistic concepts.
  • Research trends and market intelligence to inform design.
  • Mentor junior designers on the job.
  • Deliver projects on the Puma development calendar and travel to factories.

YOUR MISSION:
  • Lead the end-to-end design process from concept to final product across versatile Kids Apparel, ranging from functional performance-driven to street culture-inspired products
  • Lead in execution of innovative product design development aimed at continuous design innovation and achieving set goals with the direction of the Teamhead
  • Independently integrate product and technical developments into product design
  • Ensure the quality of products' design content to reinforce and strengthen the brand position and generate Kids specific consumer demand
  • Close collaboration with designers across other product areas (Graphic Team, FTW& Accessories) to ensure strong alignment and the delivery of holistic, 360° design concepts where needed.
  • Collect market intelligence, providing all involved with accurate and up-to-date information on design trends and developments and utilizes them effectively
  • Lead by example junior designer and coach / mentor them on the job
  • Exceptional attention to detail combined with outstanding time management skills attention to detail, and extraordinary time-management skill
  • Delivery of projects in line with PUMA development calendar
  • Travel to factories to finalize prototypes
  • Research markets for trends and inspiration
  • Enter and update design information in data systems.
YOUR TALENT:

  • Bachelor’s degree in design and/or relevant field of study
  • Minimum 6+ work experience of designing for one or more leading fashion/lifestyle/sports brand
  • Experience in the Kids fashion, athletic/apparel industry is a plus
  • Team player with the ability to quickly adapt to change and work with minimal supervision
  • Knowledge and design versatility to be able to alternate between lifestyle/fashion/performance driven projects
  • Professional experience working in team environment, ability to function autonomously as well as in a cooperative, diverse group
  • Professional working experience with Adobe Creative Suite
  • Knowledge of 3D design is a plus
  • Curiosity and experience with AI-powered design tools is a plus
  • Tremendous attention to detail and extraordinary time-management skills
  • Excellent technical background relating to fabrics & product development
  • Strategic and creative thinking, strong initiative, passionate about product
  • Vertical mindset with the consumer in mind
  • Excellent understanding of new and innovative materials and hardware as well as upcoming trends
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Fluent in English.
