Qualifikationen

About the job

You will support cost optimization activities through cost engineering analysis, supplier scouting, and cost reduction project management, including benchmarking activities and statistical analysis. You will belong to our global centralized Procurement team and collaborate with R&D, Operations, and Quality teams to develop efficient and scalable solutions. You will report to the Design to Cost Project Manager, located in Fabriano, Italy.

The ideal candidate must be proactive, goal-oriented, and have a proven track record that reflects a structured mindset. You should be adaptable, able to engage with stakeholders at all levels, and comfortable shifting between deep technical discussions and commercial conversations.

You will be part of our Graduate and Early Career Program (GEC) of 18 months, which enables you to:

  • Take on more responsibility after successful completion of the program, either in your current team, or in a different function/division/location based on your performance and available opportunities.
Your tasks
  • Generate cost reduction activities and oversee their implementation, monitoring their effectiveness and financial impact.
  • Organize cost reduction workshops with cross-functional teams, contributing to idea generation and business case development.
  • Support cost analysis of components and products, identifying optimization opportunities in materials, manufacturing processes, redesign, standardization, integration, and industrialization.
  • Collaborate with the Procurement team to negotiate with suppliers and assess more efficient alternatives.
  • Analyze cost data using tools such as Power BI, Excel, and SharePoint, creating reports and dashboards to monitor savings KPIs.
  • Support the identification of new technologies to optimize the supply chain.
  • Contribute to the digitalization of processes and the standardization of governance for D2C projects.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Electronic (considered a plus), Industrial, Mechanical, or Management Engineering, or Economics.
  • Maximum 2 years of experience in cost analysis, procurement, supply chain, or manufacturing (preferred).
  • Languages: Fluent in English, both written and verbal; Italian (considered a plus).
  • Strong knowledge of Excel (pivot tables, advanced formulas) and Power BI.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Basic knowledge of SAP.
  • Basic knowledge of cost engineering and cost reduction methodologies.
  • Goal-oriented mindset and ability to interact with various stakeholders.
  • Demonstrate genuine interest in our business and eagerness to discover and learn about different functions and roles within Franke.
  • Possess strong interpersonal, collaboration, and communication skills.
