Supply Chain / Demand Planning / Forecasting

A growing FMCG business with strong roots in the confectionery and food sector is looking to appoint a Junior Demand & Inventory Manager to join their high-performing Supply Chain team in central Düsseldorf.

This company operates as a joint venture between renowned global brands and is responsible for the distribution of household-name products across the German retail landscape. You'll be part of a collaborative SCM function, directly impacting demand planning and inventory optimisation for products loved across the country.

What You’ll Do

  • Drive accurate demand forecasts in collaboration with Sales & Marketing
  • Manage inventory planning to ensure availability across national distribution channels
  • Analyse data and challenge assumptions to improve forecast accuracy
  • Work with SAP (S4/HANA preferred) and contribute to process improvements
  • Support the S&OP process with insightful reporting and cross-functional input

What You Bring

  • A degree in Supply Chain, Business or similar
  • 1–3 years’ experience in supply chain, planning and inventory management
  • Confidence working with numbers, forecasts, and systems
  • Experience with SAP (ideally S4/HANA) or strong aptitude to learn
  • A proactive mindset, analytical strategic thinking, and willingness to grow
  • Fluent German and professional English
