Job summary

SAP Fioneer GmbH is seeking a commercially minded professional to help structure and price complex software deals, working across Sales, Product, and Finance to maximize impact for clients and the company.

You will contribute to revenue growth and cost optimization initiatives while maintaining a data-driven, analytical approach. The role offers a fast-paced, startup-inspired environment with flat hierarchies and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• University degree in business, finance, economics or related field.
• 1+ years of experience in dynamic environments such as M&A consulting, Big Four, banks, or tech companies.
• Desire to work in a consultative, strategic selling environment.
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Affinitiy for the technology and enterprise software industry.
• Proactive, hands-on approach with willingness to manage operational tasks.
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of your area.
• Ability to develop data-driven insights and communicate recommendations to CxOs.
• Advanced proficiency in written and spoken German and English.

Responsibilities

• Support deal teams in structuring and pricing large, complex software deals to drive significant impact.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Sales, Product, Finance) to optimize commercial outcomes in deals.
• Contribute to strategic initiatives that impact revenue growth or cost optimization.
• Update and optimize pricing tools, processes, and frameworks for efficiency.
• Create and deliver reports and presentations to inform top management decisions.

Join SAP Fioneer and directly contribute to the execution and structuring of complex software deals, alongside other high-impact commercial initiatives. You will shape deals within our cross-functional teams to maximize the impact on both Fioneer and our clients.

Your Profile:

• University degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Physics, or a related field.
• At least 1 years of experience in dynamic environments such as M&A consulting firms, Big Four firms, banks, or tech companies.
• Strong desire to work in a consultative, strategic selling environment.
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong affinity for the Technology & Enterprise Software industry.
• Proactive, hands-on approach, including willingness to manage operational tasks such as database updates to ensure data accuracy and efficiency.
• Ability to work independently, with an eagerness to learn and a strong willingness to take ownership of your area of responsibility.
• Proven ability to develop data-driven insights, quantify their impact, and effectively communicate recommendations to CxOs.
• Advanced proficiency in written and spoken German and English.
