We are seeking a technically skilled and passionate Junior Data Scientist to join our international and dynamic Data Science department at AUTO1 Group Technology. AUTO1 Group is Europe's leading digital automotive platform. We revolutionize the used car market with our well-known brands Autohero, wirkaufendeinauto.de, and AUTO1.com. Our team is divided accordingly based on the 3 brands, and here at Auto1.com, we focus on sales to professional dealers. We are dedicated to leveraging cutting-edge technology to develop machine learning solutions that optimize our Auto1.com sales and processes.

As a Junior Data Scientist, you will participate in developing innovative machine learning models to address challenges such as dynamic pricing based on market demands on the Auto1.com platform, creating personalized recommendations for dealers, optimizing sales representatives' calling priorities, and forecasting demands to inform purchasing and pricing decisions. You will also be involved in technical implementations such as feature stores to support the entire data science department. We are excited to work with talented contributors. Job Responsibilities

1. Assist in translating business needs into data science questions and contribute to the research and development of machine learning solutions that create positive business impact.
2. Collaborate with engineering and product teams to support deployment and integration of data science solutions into Auto1's technology infrastructure.
3. Monitor model performance in production, prepare reports for stakeholders, and assist in developing actionable next steps under guidance.
4. Learn from senior team members, follow best practices, and actively contribute to project goals as part of a collaborative team.

Qualifications

1. A university degree in STEM fields or prior work experience in data analytics and data science.
2. Knowledge of machine learning algorithms, including supervised and unsupervised learning.
3. Hands-on experience with SQL and Python for data manipulation, analysis, and modeling.
4. Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, and experience with Git or GitHub is a plus.
5. Ability to draw conclusions from data and recommend actions.
6. Strong communication and visualization skills to effectively present findings clearly and concisely.
