Die Demo Daten GmbH sucht junior Data Engineer, um skalierbare Data-Pipelines zu entwerfen, zu bauen und in unsere Data-Stack-Architektur zu integrieren. Du unterstützt ETL/ELT-Prozesse und arbeitest eng mit Senior Engineers zusammen.

Du bringst Grundkenntnisse in Python, SQL, Git mit und hast idealerweise Erfahrung in Cloud-Umgebungen (Azure/AWS). Deutsch (C1) und Englisch (B2) runden dein Profil ab.

Qualifikationen

• Fundierte Kenntnisse in Datenmodellierung und modernen Data-Warehousing-Architekturen.
• Python-Programmierung und SQL-Kompetenz für Abfragen komplexer Datensätze.
• Erfahrung mit Git und kollaborativer Entwicklung.
• Erste praktische Erfahrung in Cloud-Umgebungen (Azure oder AWS).
• Bereitschaft, neue ETL/ELT-Tools und Cloud-Technologien zu lernen.
• Gute Problemlösungsfähigkeiten und proaktives Lernverhalten.
• Selbstständiges Arbeiten sowie Teamarbeit in agilen Projekten.

Aufgaben

• Entwerfen, bauen und betreiben von Data-Pipelines gemäß Kundenbedürfnissen und Einbindung in den bestehenden Data-Stack.
• Wartung und Optimierung der Data-Infrastruktur für ETL/ELT-Prozesse.
• Aufbau, Test und Deployment von Data-Artifacts in Cloud-Umgebungen.
• Zusammenarbeit mit Senior Engineers zur Sicherstellung von Data-Qualität, Datenschutz und Sicherheit.
• Überwachung der Pipeline-Performance und Identifikation von Optimierungspotenzialen.
• Zusammenarbeit mit Reeeliance- und Kundenteams in einem agilen Projektteam.

Your responsibilities

• You will support the team in designing, building, and maintaining data pipelines according to client business needs and embedding them end-to-end into the given data stack
• On this role, you will assist in maintaining and optimizing data infrastructure required for data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL/ELT) from a wide variety of data sources
• As a junior Data Engineer, you will build, test, and deploy data artifacts on cloud platforms using modern version control best practices
• You will collaborate with senior engineers to ensure data accuracy, integrity, privacy, security, and compliance by applying data quality assurance methods
• Monitoring data pipeline performance and assisting in identifying opportunities for pipeline optimization
• In this role, you will work closely together with both reeeliance and client staff as part of an agile project team

Our requirements

• Solid foundational knowledge of data modeling concepts and modern data warehousing architectures
• Proficiency in Python and strong SQL skills for querying and manipulating complex datasets
• Hands‑on experience with Git for version control and collaborative development
• Practical exposure to or understanding of working within cloud environments (such as Azure or AWS)
• Eagerness to learn new ETL/ELT tools, cloud technologies, and software engineering practices
• Strong problem‑solving attitude and an enthusiastic, proactive approach to learning
• Ability to work both independently on delegated tasks and collaboratively within agile project teams
• A university degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline (or equivalent practical experience)
• Articulate with impeccable verbal and written communication skills in German (C1 level) and English (B2 level). Strong & discerning listener
