MEININGER Hotels is looking for a Junior Controller who will serve as a contact for Projects, Development, and related CAPEX topics, Asset Management, and Management reporting.

YOUR TASKS
- Prepare budgets and forecasts, highlighting overruns.
- Provide management with ad-hoc analysis as a basis for strategic decisions.
- Review business performance and overhead costs to identify misallocations and overruns.
- Review balance sheets to identify misallocations and unusual movements.
- Prepare monthly and year-end audit reports for Projects, Expansion, and Development Teams.
- Prepare reports for landlords and other external stakeholders.
- Prepare any ad-hoc reporting and analysis.
- Develop, implement, and maintain systems, procedures, and policies to ensure adherence to company guidelines.
- Provide guidance and procedures for accounting and within the controlling team.
- Identify cost control opportunities.
- Support ERP setup projects and ongoing improvements.
YOUR PROFILE
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Controlling or Finance.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in finance within an international hotel chain.
- Shared Service and General Ledger accounting experience is a plus.
- Excellent knowledge of Excel; IFRS knowledge is a plus.
- Good knowledge of planning tools and budget processes (LucaNet required; Fairmas is a plus).
- Knowledge of ERP systems (AX Dynamics).
- Analytical thinking, energetic, pragmatic, detail-oriented, hands-on, team player.
- Ability to structure and prioritize a large workload under high pressure.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in English and German; additional European languages are a plus.
