Junior Controller (f/m/d)

Full-time

MEININGER Hotels is looking for a Junior Controller who will serve as a contact for Projects, Development, and related CAPEX topics, Asset Management, and Management reporting.

YOUR TASKS
  1. Prepare budgets and forecasts, highlighting overruns.
  2. Provide management with ad-hoc analysis as a basis for strategic decisions.
  3. Review business performance and overhead costs to identify misallocations and overruns.
  4. Review balance sheets to identify misallocations and unusual movements.
  5. Prepare monthly and year-end audit reports for Projects, Expansion, and Development Teams.
  6. Prepare reports for landlords and other external stakeholders.
  7. Prepare any ad-hoc reporting and analysis.
  8. Develop, implement, and maintain systems, procedures, and policies to ensure adherence to company guidelines.
  9. Provide guidance and procedures for accounting and within the controlling team.
  10. Identify cost control opportunities.
  11. Support ERP setup projects and ongoing improvements.
YOUR PROFILE
  1. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Controlling or Finance.
  2. Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in finance within an international hotel chain.
  3. Shared Service and General Ledger accounting experience is a plus.
  4. Excellent knowledge of Excel; IFRS knowledge is a plus.
  5. Good knowledge of planning tools and budget processes (LucaNet required; Fairmas is a plus).
  6. Knowledge of ERP systems (AX Dynamics).
  7. Analytical thinking, energetic, pragmatic, detail-oriented, hands-on, team player.
  8. Ability to structure and prioritize a large workload under high pressure.
  9. Excellent oral and written communication skills in English and German; additional European languages are a plus.
