Allianz Services, a hub for delivering specialized services to Allianz Group, is seeking professionals with 1–2 years in safeguarding functions or project management to support operational risk and resilience initiatives. You will work in a hybrid, globally connected team, contributing to risk assessments, governance, and client engagements across international contexts.

Fluency in English is essential; German language skills are a plus.

Qualifications

• University degree or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 1–2 years in safeguarding functions (ERM, NFRM, resilience) or related project management roles.
• Experience in risk assessments, monitoring, reporting, or controls testing is a plus.
• Knowledge of insurance/financial services or consulting methodologies is helpful.
• Strong communication skills in English; German is a plus.

Role Overview

Our global service line (GSL) provides project and RUN services to Allianz entities. As an inhouse consulting team, we proactively advise our clients (entities) on strategic developments, leverage our internal knowledge of the organization and implement innovative solutions in the area of safeguarding. Our team focusses on projects and engagements in the domains of (1) operational risk management with focus on Non-Financial Risk Management (NFRM) and (2) resilience, which covers topics as Business Continuity Management, Incident Coordination, IT Service Continuity Management and others. What You Do

• Work as part of a project team with clients, bearing responsibility for specific tasks, the quality of your deliverables and ensuring project milestones are reached
• Take responsibility for content delivery as part of (sub-)workstreams on projects, collaborate with other consultants and ensure timely and proactive communication with project or workstream leads about project progress
• Prepare and contribute to communications and project timelines for the respective assigned activities
• Contribute to business development and client pitches under the guidance of an Engagement Manager or Principal Consultant.
• Help increase the team’s expertise with focus on safeguarding areas for project and service creation by proactively sharing own best practices, new trends or other relevant information to continuously improve own and the team’s knowledge management.
• Contribute to internal projects within Allianz Services, including internal trainings and exchanges, team events, etc.
• Contribute to the day-to-day operations of the assigned tasks.

What You Bring

• University degree or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 1-2 years of experience in safeguarding functions (e.g. operational risk management with focus on Non-financial risks, resilience, or project management), including internships or working student positions.
• Relevant business experience on Enterprise Risk Management (ERM), Operational Risk Management or Internal Risk & Controls Systems which preferably includes designing and implementing risk & control frameworks, understanding risk methodologies. Alternatively, relevant business experience in Business continuity Management, IT Service Continuity Management, Incident or Crisis coordination, or other resilience relevant areas.
• Experience in conducting risk assessments, monitoring, reporting, internal controls testing or implementing mitigation solutions is a plus.
• Knowledge of insurance industry, financial services or consulting methodologies, tools, and techniques are preferred.
• Relevant experience in project management, change management, business transformation or initiative development and implementation is desired.
• Experience with managing internal or external clients (consulting) and client focus is desired.
• Good communication skills to communicating with a broad range of audiences and seniority levels in every international set up and excellent command in English to prepare and deliver presentations and reports (other languages are a plus).
• Solving problems mindset and a pronounced capacity for analytical thinking
• PowerPoint and Excel skills (can perform complex functions) are required and experience in other GRC tools are preferred.
• Working language is English, but German language skills are desired and a clear plus as many of our customers are based in Germany.
