Job summary

Allianz Group is seeking an experienced Cloud Security Consultant in Unterföhring near Munich. You will lead client engagements, assess cloud architectures, and translate findings into actionable roadmaps, driving governance and secure cloud environments.

Join an international team delivering transformation in digital and security domains. Ideal candidates have 3+ years in consulting or tech, are fluent in English, and bring PowerPoint/Excel prowess.

Qualifications

• University degree or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in consulting or related tech/management roles.
• Experience in cloud transformation, architecture or security.
• Familiarity with APIs, scripting or infrastructure-as-code.
• Knowledge of container images, containers or serverless technologies.
• Strong understanding of cloud security controls and governance.
• Excellent communication with senior stakeholders.
• Proficient in PowerPoint and Excel for reports.
• English fluency; German language skills welcomed.
• Interest in insurance/financial services and GenAI.

Key Responsibilities / You Will Get To

• Structure complex problems into a clear scope, analysis and workplan
• Lead client engagements independently on a workstream
• Assess cloud architecture, configurations and security controls
• Work with engineering teams to translate recommendations into implementation requirements, driving Cloud Security Governance
• Contribute to the development of standardized, secure cloud environments (e.g. image bakery initiatives)
• Translate technical findings into business implications and practical recommendations
• Produce clear assessments, executive presentations and implementation roadmaps
• Work credibly with engineers, security specialists and senior stakeholders
• Contribute to business development and client pitches under the guidance of an Engagement Manager
• Help increase Allianz Consulting expertise within our strategic areas of development
• Contribute to internal projects within Allianz Consulting, including internal knowledge sharing and team events

Key requirements / What we hope you bring:

• Essential: Consulting or otherwise experience in cloud transformation, architecture or security – this is a core requirement for the role
• Experience in management, technology, engineering or cybersecurity topics, with evidence of substantive client delivery
• Familiarity with APIs, scripting or infrastructure-as-code
• Knowledge of container images, containers and serverless technologies
• Strong understanding of cloud security controls and governance frameworks
• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage senior stakeholders
• Ability to structure complex problems and deliver practical, actionable recommendations
• University degree or equivalent experience
• Minimum 3 years of experience in operational business or management consulting
• An affinity for solving problems and a pronounced capacity for analytical thinking to help you organize and prioritize your tasks
• Your excellent command of English that you will use while preparing and delivering presentations and reports
• Your previously acquired skills in PowerPoint and Excel (can perform complex functions)
• Your curiosity for or knowledge of insurance and financial services and consulting methodologies, tools, and techniques
