Junior Compliance and Sustainability Manager (f/m/d)

Your responsibilities:

• Support in the development, implementation, and monitoring of a compliance program for the entire HSH Chemie Group, adapting it based on local requirements.
• Collaborate on topics such as Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD), Taxonomy, Anti-Trust, Anti-Money Laundering (AML), Cyber Security, Due Diligence (DD), Health & Safety, Know Your Customer (KYC), Procurement, Risk Assessment, Staff Training, Whistleblowing.
• Work with local compliance colleagues and external stakeholders (regulatory authorities, lawyers, auditors, insurers, financial institutions) as well as internal teams (HR, IT, Finance/Accounting, Sales).
• Foster the development and implementation of sustainability strategies and ESG (Environmental, Social, Governance) initiatives.
• Support in the preparation and conduction of ISO audits and internal audits.
• Develop compliance policies, procedures, practices, and related training.
• Keep track of regulatory changes and regularly conduct compliance risk assessments.

Your profile:

• Successfully completed studies with a focus on Compliance, Sustainability, or Law, with initial professional experience in one of these fields.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail and deadlines.
• Proactive, structured, and reliable approach to work.
• Outgoing personality comfortable approaching international colleagues and managers.
• Interest in chemical raw materials and distribution.
• Target group-oriented communication style, fluent in English and German (written and spoken).
