Job summary

CLIENTALYTICS is seeking a Junior Business Consultant in Financial Services to drive customer projects from analysis through testing and successful launch. You will join a Competence Team (Compliance, Regulatory, ESG, or Operational Excellence) and become an expert in that area.

You will support clients across banks and asset managers, advising on processing, software integration, migrations, and regulatory changes. Fluency in English and German is required, with willingness to travel in Europe.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in economics, business informatics, financial mathematics, or a related field.
• Candidates with potential who completed commercial training in banking, insurance, or investment may be considered.
• At least one year of experience in a similar role or substantial experience in banking, asset management, or the fund industry.
• Proficient in financial instruments and products (e.g., funds, bonds, derivatives) and related business processes.
• Exposure to MiFID II, PRIIPS, EMIR, GDPR, PSD2, KYC, AIFMD, ESG preferred.
• Ideal candidate is customer-oriented, proactive, a team player with strong organizational skills.

Specialize in one of our Competence Teams - currently including Compliance Services, Regulatory Reporting, ESG, Operational Excellence - and become an expert in that field.

Provide support to clients at private and investment banks, custodian banks, asset managers, and financial service providers.

Offer advice on business processing, process optimization, software integration, migrations, and regulatory changes, tailored to your focus and expertise.

Collaborate with specialist departments and IT to apply your specialized knowledge effectively and assist in the execution of complex projects.

Requirements

A university degree in economics, business informatics, financial mathematics, or a related field (Bachelor's or Master's) is required.

Candidates with potential who have completed commercial training in banking, insurance, or investment may also be considered.

Applicants should have a minimum of one year of experience in a similar role or substantial experience in banking, asset management, or the fund industry.

They must be proficient in financial instruments and products, such as investment funds, bonds, and derivatives, and understand the related business processes.

Exposure to current regulatory requirements such as MiFID II, PRIIPS, EMIR, GDPR, PSD2, KYC, AIFMD, and ESG is preferred.

The ideal candidate will be customer-oriented, proactive, a team player, and have strong organizational skills.

Fluency in English and German is required, and proficiency in another European language is beneficial.

There must be a willingness to travel within Europe for extended projects at client locations during the workweek, as necessary.
