ABOUT YOU’s Supply Solutions & Analytics team provides insights, tools and data solutions to all the teams within the Supply Side of the organization, with the goal of enabling faster and smarter business decisions and optimising all processes involving data. We’re a passionate, international & truly diverse team of assortment experts, analytics experts, data scientists and machine-learning engineers with different backgrounds from business or consulting to mathematics or computer science.

As (Junior) Business Analyst (m/w/d) you will join our business analytics experts in supporting our business teams by building dashboards and reports, performing analysis and preparing data. Moreover, you will work closely with the different Supply teams (Buying, Planning, Inventory Management, etc.) to understand their day-to-day business and develop data-solutions to improve their processes. We translate business challenges into data analytics solutions.

Challenges the team is working on

Understand day-to-day business of the diverse Supply teams like Planning, Buying, Inventory Management, Partner Management or Pricing

• Develop smart analytics solutions to holistically improve our processes
• Enable our stakeholders to access and use relevant data and tools for day-to-day business in order to make quick and effective business decisions

Responsibilities

Review and improve our reports, dashboards and data visualization products

• Build and maintaining custom dashboards based on Google BigQuery (e.g. in Google Data Studio, Tableau) to display different KPIs for each business unit
• Build and maintain reports to enable the day-to-day activities of business teams
• Improve and drive the implementation of automated business processes
• Perform analyses based on various data sources using SQL
• Develop a strong understanding of the various planning, inventory & buying metrics and KPIs

Requirements

• Strong academic record and degree from a top university in Economics, Business or Business Analytics
• 1-2 years of professional experience or relevant internships in e-commerce, fashion or retail environment
• Good understanding of the e-commerce business model and the relevant KPIs
• Previous experience with SQL or Python is a plus, or willingness and ability to learn it quickly
• Strong written and verbal English skills
• Comprehensive analytical skills and distinctive understanding of numbers
