Qualifikationen

• Akademischer Hintergrund in Agrarwissenschaften oder Umweltwissenschaften oder praktische Erfahrung in der Landwirtschaft.

Your tasks

• Klim supports farmers and companies in their transition to regenerative agriculture. Klim has developed a digital platform that offers farms an easy way to document their regenerative measures, obtain funding for their implemented measures, and benefit from the expertise of a committed community.
• Together with farms and participating companies, Klim is committed to sustainably reducing CO2 emissions in agriculture, improving soil health, and promoting biodiversity. To ensure the quality and integrity of its work, Klim has developed its own monitoring, reporting, and verification (MRV) process.
• As part of our MRV (Monitoring, Reporting, and Verification) team, you will work closely with our agricultural partner companies to ensure the quality and transparency of our results. You will work as a verifier for our internal verification process. Your task will be to review farm data regarding the measures implemented by the farms.
• You will carefully review farm documents such as agricultural applications, fertilizer requirement assessments, seed receipts, service invoices, and inventory lists and verify that the data on our platform is consistent with the documentation.
• Using your agricultural expertise, you will examine the plausibility of the regenerative measures used, such as crop rotation or fertilizer use.
• You will be in close contact with farms to clarify any questions.
• You will also support our team in further developing and improving our verification process with a view to new products and internationalization.
• With your work, you will ensure that the CO₂ storage and savings calculated by our model have actually been achieved.

Your mission

As part of our MRV (Monitoring, Reporting, and Verification) team, you will work closely with our agricultural partner companies to ensure the quality and transparency of our results. You will work as a verifier for our internal verification process. Your task will be to review farm data regarding the measures implemented by the farms.

Your profile

• You have an academic background in agricultural sciences, environmental sciences or a comparable field – or you have practical experience in agriculture, e.g. through personal background or professional activity
• You have a strong interest in regenerative agriculture and sustainable solutions.
• Independent, structured and responsible work is a given for you.
• You are proficient in using digital tools, especially Excel.
• You are fluent in written and spoken German; knowledge of English is an advantage
