Intro: Our client is looking for a (Junior) Accountant to join our team for a temporary position covering maternity leave until July 2026. This role offers an excellent opportunity for someone eager to start a career in finance and accounting while gaining practical experience across various tasks.

Tasks:

  • Booking incoming and outgoing bills, ensuring accurate revenue postings.
  • Processing supplier payments and managing expense approvals for employees.
  • Reconciling bank statements, credit card balances, and employee expense accounts.
  • Supporting month-end closing tasks, including reconciling accounts receivable and accounts payable.
  • Maintaining accurate and organized financial records.
  • Assisting with the preparation of basic financial reports and templates under supervision.

Requirements:

  • Experience in an accounting or finance-related role (internships or part-time roles count!).
  • Very good knowledge of Netsuite Oracle is essential.
  • Proficiency in Excel, including data entry, formulas, and spreadsheet formatting.
  • Knowledge of HGB and IFRS is a plus.
  • Team player who enjoys collaboration and is open to feedback.
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and eager to learn.
  • Proficiency in English is required.
