Job Description

Are you an enthusiastic and ambitious finance professional who is eager to develop into Junior General Ledger Accountant (m/f/d) we are looking for?

Responsibilities

1. Ongoing processing of financial accounting for individual Group companies
2. Preparation of monthly financial statements in accordance with IFRS for consolidation/reporting purposes as well as annual financial statements in accordance with the German Commercial Code (HGB)
3. Analysing and interpreting balance sheets and determining important key figures that form the basis for business management decisions
4. Competent contact person for auditors, tax consultants, internal managers and internal auditors
5. Support in projects for the further development, optimization and implementation of systems, processes and accounting guidelines
6. Support of the financial accounting of individual Group companies
7. Work closely with other departments of the company and communicate directly with the Teamlead
8. Responsibility for operational processes in accounting and independent support of the financial accounting of individual Group companies
9. Guidelines and support for the assigned current account employees
10. Creation of statistics and analyses
11. Professional contact person for colleagues in accounting and other departments

Requirements

1. University degree in economics or a comparable qualification
2. Completed commercial apprenticeship
3. 2+ years of professional experience in national (HGB) and international accounting (IFRS)
4. Several years of professional experience in the accounting department of a company
5. Knowledge of accounting according to IFRS and HGB
6. Fluent written and spoken German and English
7. Experience, preferably in a company with group structures
8. Good knowledge of SAP FI and MS Office, especially Excel
9. Quick comprehension and strong organizational skills
10. Strong ability to work in a team and high service orientation (friendly and very confident appearance at all levels)
