As a DevOps Engineer at Ratepay, you will play a crucial role in our mission to streamline and enhance our payment processing systems.

Role Overview

As a Senior System Engineer, your focus will be on the administration of Windows Servers, virtualization technologies such as Proxmox Cluster, and connected third-party applications. Additionally, you will maintain and develop application management systems owned by the Corporate IT department.

Key Responsibilities

1. Manage Windows Server and Client Administration, including Active Directory (AD), Azure AD, and Dell EMS.
2. Administer Mobile Device Management (MDM) tools such as Intune, Baramundi, and Apple Business Manager.
3. Oversee Identity Management systems like Okta and Azure.
4. Manage physical hardware in data centers, including DELL servers, firewalls, and switches.
5. Administer Office 365 applications and ecosystem.
6. Manage Exchange Online and Exchange 2016.
7. Coordinate with external vendors.
8. Lead migration of Windows servers to AWS EC2.
9. Manage third-party applications.

Development Goals (First 36 Months)

1. Develop and manage Windows Servers.
2. Contribute to the COLT Data Center Migration project.
3. Progress into application administration within the IT environment.

Candidate Profile

• Over 6 years of professional experience in IT Administration.
• Experience managing and migrating Windows Server versions.
• Expertise in managing Exchange On-Premise 2016 and Exchange Online.
• Proficient in PowerShell scripting for automation and administration.
• Strong knowledge of Windows Server Administration (AD, GPO, WSUS, DNS, Certificates).
• Experience with migration projects involving data centers and application servers.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with AWS Administration using Terraform.
• Virtualization experience with Proxmox, VMware ESXi, or Hyper-V.
