We're building pHera: a smart vaginal pH test that turns your smartphone into a lab-grade diagnostic that can be used anytime, anywhere! With ultra-precise, camera-verified results, we’re fixing a silent crisis: outdated, biased, and guesswork-based pH tests that misdiagnose millions of women. For decades, vaginal pH above 4.5 has been labeled “unhealthy” based on studies done almost exclusively on white women. But we now know that for many Asian, Black, and Hispanic women, a pH above 4.5 is completely normal. This oversight contributes to high misdiagnosis rates for vaginal infections, PCOS, and menopause.
