Your Responsibilities

As a Lab Associate, you will play a key role in the success of our projects by:

  • independently preparing, conducting and documenting organic syntheses on DNA.
  • performing enzymatic procedures like ligation and PCR using established protocols.
  • applying analytical methods such as HPLC analyses.
  • maintaining laboratory equipment and carrying out simple repairs.
Who We Are Looking For

To excel in this role, you will need the following qualifications and skills:

  • successfully completed training as a chemistry laboratory technician.
  • strong knowledge and hands-on experience in preparative organic chemistry.
  • good written and spoken proficiency in German and English.
  • proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel.
  • a collaborative spirit with high levels of teamwork, flexibility, and resilience.
  • experience with maintaining and repairing HPLC systems is a plus.
