Kommunaler Versorgungsverband Baden-Württemberg (KVBW) is a public corporation with the business areas of civil servant pensions, benefits, municipal personnel services and supplementary pensions. Its geographical area of operation covers the state of Baden-Württemberg. The association is headquartered in Karlsruhe with a second office in Stuttgart.

At our office in Karlsruhe, we are looking to fill the following position in the Software Engineering and IT Coordination department at the earliest possible date :

Team leader (m / f / d) 1st level support

Your main responsibilities :

  • Leading a team of 4 people
  • Organization and coordination of the activities of the 1st level support team (according to ITIL)
  • Assisting with the definition, introduction and further development of service agreements for 1st level support
  • Introducing workflows and optimizing business processes
  • Communicating departmental concerns to the following support levels
  • Creating reports, forecasts, effort estimates and change proposals
  • Eliminating faults and errors to a defined extent
  • Maintaining and editing the knowledge management and problem database
  • Checking and releasing workarounds and solutions for subsequent support levels
  • Tracking of tickets
  • Intensive communication with all stakeholders of the KVBW support and in the working group of the HSW network

We expect from you :

  • A degree in a technology-oriented field or completed training as an IT system administrator, IT system technician (m / f / d) or a comparable qualification
  • A high degree of personal responsibility, self-management and conflict resolution skills
  • Efficient planning and scheduling of the entire team
  • A high degree of decision-making ability as well as solution-oriented thinking and action in problematic situations
  • Ability to engage in dialog and customer orientation
