For our office in Düsseldorf, we are looking for an IT Manager (m / f / d).

As an IT Manager (m / f / d), you will be responsible for the maintenance, troubleshooting, and support of the IT infrastructure, including hardware, software, and network components, ad hoc and remotely. Your goal is to ensure efficient, secure, and trouble-free operation of local networks and computer systems by providing quality support to end users.

• System support for PCs, servers, and workstations, including software patching and updates
• Network support and maintenance: support for network hardware (routers, switches, firewalls, etc.) and infrastructure (LAN, VPN, wireless networks, etc.)
• Security management: implementation of cybersecurity best practices to protect data and infrastructure from unauthorized access and cyberattacks
• Tracking the life cycle of hardware and software and cost-effective maintenance of the IT inventory portfolio

Your profile

• Completed Bachelor's degree in IT or similar training with appropriate further training
• At least 2 years of practical experience in a similar role
• Know-how and experience with LAN, wireless networks, PCs, and smartphones
• Active Directory / Entra ID user administration
• Experience with the support of Microsoft 365 products
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with both end users and IT colleagues
• Ability to multitask and prioritize workload while meeting deadlines
• English and German are a must; other languages are an advantage
• Analytical, problem-solving, but above all customer-oriented
• Knowledge of the latest hardware, software, and security standards and interest in the latest developments in ICT (AI, robotics...)
• A broad general interest in ICT and a passion for technology
• Flexibility in working hours; occasional travel possible
