Job Description:

Rheinmetall Electronics GmbH in Bremen is seeking a Fachinformatiker Systemintegration (m/w/d). In this role, you will be responsible for executing software integration tasks at segment and system levels. Your goal-oriented work style and passion for innovation will help you identify issues and develop solutions within complex systems.

Responsibilities include:

• IT concept development for projects (servers, networks, storage, backup, 24/7 operations, remote access)
• Review of IT systems against internal and client requirements
• Design of IT system upgrades for internal and client systems
• Development of scalable IT concepts focusing on performance and economic optimization
• Optimization and automation of integration and installation processes
• Coordination of needs between product development, projects, and suppliers
• Support in functional and technical implementation of new hardware and software in projects, including at clients
• Creation and delivery of training and user documentation in projects, including at clients

Qualifications:

• Completed training as Fachinformatiker Systemintegration or a degree in Information Technology/Computer Science
• Several years of professional experience preferred
• Strong technical understanding of systems and cost awareness
• Experience in network technology, storage systems (NetApp), and virtualization (VMware)
• Containerization (Docker) and scripting (Bash/Python) experience is desirable
• Good command of English, both written and spoken
• Knowledge of Linux system administration and Microsoft Windows is advantageous
• Willingness to travel
