Java Engineer - Virtualization (m/w/d) - 100 % Home Office, Nürnberg

Responsibilities

1. Design and implementation of APIs to model complex workflows
2. Further development of the Anexia Virtualization Stack based on KVM
3. Design and implementation of new features in close coordination with internal stakeholders
4. Analysis and resolution of errors to ensure stable system operation
5. Development of functions to improve cloud infrastructure (e.g., automatic load balancing and failover mechanisms)
6. Conducting code reviews and ensuring performance and maintainability of all components
7. Further development and maintenance of CI/CD pipelines
8. Automation of software deployments across globally distributed systems

Minimum Requirements

1. Completed technical education or degree in IT
2. Several years of experience in software development with Java
3. Solid knowledge of virtualization, especially with KVM
4. Experience with API design and implementation
5. Familiarity with code review processes and best practices in software development
6. Structured and independent working style, with willingness to learn new technologies and concepts
7. Excellent German language skills and very good English skills, both written and spoken
