SOLUM Technologies India in Bangalore is seeking a Java Developer with 3+ years of experience to design and develop high-volume, low-latency applications for mission-critical systems. The role involves contributing to all development lifecycle phases, enhancing software for high performance and availability, and developing microservices for cloud deployment. This is a full-time on-site role in Bengaluru, India.

Responsibilities:

1. Design and develop high-volume, low-latency applications for mission-critical systems, ensuring high availability and performance.
2. Contribute throughout all phases of the development lifecycle.
3. Prepare and release software components.
4. Support continuous improvement by investigating new technologies and presenting them for architectural review.
5. Design and develop Dockerized microservices for cloud deployment.

Primary Skills (Mandatory):

• BSc in Computer Science or related field with applicable work experience.
• 3-5 years of experience in Java Web Development.
• Proficiency in Core and Advanced Java 1.8, Web and Microservice development using Java (JSP, Servlet, Spring Boot, Spring MVC), RESTful Web Services, Spring Framework, RDBMS (Postgres, MS SQL Server), Hibernate.
• Experience in developing Microservices for cloud platforms (Azure/AWS/GCP) is preferred.
• Experience with Spring Framework (Spring Boot, Spring Batch), Spring MVC, Microservice architecture, RESTful web services.
• Hands-on experience with Hibernate, JPA, MyBatis, or other persistence frameworks.
• Knowledge of databases such as SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB.
• Familiarity with Maven/Gradle.
• Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes.

• Strong teamwork skills and ability to foster collaboration within and across teams.
• Good communication skills in English.
