A Japanese multinational trading company is seeking a Japanese and German Speaking Junior Sales Associate to join their expanding team in Frankfurt, Germany. The role focuses on maximizing client satisfaction. Initially, you will work as a Sales Administrator to learn about the products.

Requirements:

  • Business proficiency in Japanese, English, and German.
  • Understanding of Japanese corporate culture and etiquette is advantageous.
  • More than 2 years of business experience.
  • Good knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Business level fluency in Japanese, English, and German.
  • Ability to travel within Europe and overseas.
  • Legal right to work in Germany.

Type: Permanent, full-time

Working hours: 8:30 - 17:00, Monday to Friday (flexible working possible)

Location: Frankfurt, Germany

Job Responsibilities:
  1. Handle purchase orders and logistics management.
  2. Serve as a representative for customer inquiries.
  3. Process orders, input data into the database, and review stock-in goods based on warehouse reports.
  4. Support accounts during month-end closing.
  5. Coordinate with forwarders for any issues.
  6. Prepare shipment volume and forecast reports for suppliers in Japan.
  7. Participate in stock takes and resolve discrepancies.
  8. Create monthly profit and inventory reports.
  9. Promote and sell machine parts within the automotive sector.
  10. Manage correspondence with customers and suppliers, mainly in Asia.
  11. Request quotations from suppliers and negotiate terms.
  12. Prepare and follow up on customer quotations.
  13. Visit customers and suppliers outside Germany, sometimes in Asia, for negotiations.
  14. Expedite resolution of customer problems and complaints.
  15. Develop projects such as PPAP, environmental, and other customer-required documents, and evaluate production processes.
  16. Prepare monthly sales activity reports and yearly sales plans, revising every 3 months.
