IT SYSTEM ADMINISTRATOR (f/m/d)

The Düsseldorf Chamber of Skilled Crafts is the association for the entire skilled crafts sector in the Düsseldorf administrative district and represents the interests of its approximately 60,000 member companies. We advise companies in many areas and offer further education and training for master craftsmen and women, entrepreneurs and their employees. Our aim is to be both a driving force and an expert companion in technical, economic and social change. For our IT department at the Düsseldorf Chamber of Skilled Crafts, we are looking for a full-time, permanent position in Düsseldorf with immediate effect for a:


IT System Administrator with a focus on Deployment / Course Support (F/M/d)

Responsibilities:

  1. You will take over the administration of the system environments in training and examination rooms and ensure the availability of the software in a timely manner.
  2. As part of 1st and 2nd level support, you will support lecturers and examiners by solving technical problems.
  3. Troubleshooting faults in the software landscape, operating systems and the software distribution system is one of your tasks, especially during examination times.
  4. You will also be responsible for patch management and implementing measures to ensure a high level of IT security.
  5. You will set up workstation computers, printers, projectors and other devices as well as Windows and Linux-based software.

Important for us:

  1. You have a university degree in computer science, a comparable IT specialist qualification, alternatively many years of relevant professional experience or a comparable qualification.
  2. You have user knowledge in the administration of a software distribution solution or software packaging.
  3. Your knowledge of IT security, basic protection and data protection round off your profile.
  4. A positive image of people, your service orientation and ability to work in a team also characterize you.

Your remuneration is based on the collective agreement of the federal states (up to EG 9b depending on requirements) with all the benefits of the public sector, such as annual special payment and company pension allowance.
