Job summary

DKV Mobility in Ratingen, Germany, seeks an IT systems professional to own the administration, monitoring and ongoing development of our Windows server environment, aligned with security policies. You will ensure reliable operations and contribute to lifecycle management.

You will handle 2nd- and 3rd-level incidents, collaborate with external partners, and help design concepts for server and application operations while supporting IT and business projects from planning to rollout.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience with complex Windows server infrastructures.
• Excellent knowledge of Windows Server technologies: AD, Entra ID, GPOs, File Services.
• Proficient in Windows PowerShell for administration and automation.
• Experience with hybrid on-premise and cloud environments (IaaS/PaaS/SaaS).
• Experience with external service providers and vendor management.
• Analytical, structured, independent, and good oversight in complex situations.
• Strong communication and teamwork; fluent German and English.

As part of our team, you will take on the following responsibilities:

• You will take responsibility for the implementation, administration, monitoring, and continuous development of IT systems and services in a Windows server environment, ensuring compliance with applicable security policies.
• You will analyze and resolve incidents as part of 2nd- and 3rd-level support and ensure stable and reliable operations.
• You will be responsible for smooth system operations as well as correct and efficient licensing within the scope of lifecycle management.
• You will continuously enhance existing systems to sustainably increase security, efficiency, and stability.
• You will manage and oversee external partners and service providers in close coordination with the responsible manager.
• You will contribute to the design and implementation of concepts in the area of server and application operations, taking defined security policies into account.
• You will support the planning, coordination, and execution of IT and business projects during the implementation, testing, and rollout phases.
• You will advise business departments on projects and changes to IT services, systems, and applications, and analyze and evaluate technical, functional, and process-related requirements, including automation potential.

What makes you stand out

• You have relevant professional experience operating complex, heterogeneous server infrastructures as well as application servers based on Microsoft Windows Server.
• You have very good knowledge of Microsoft server technologies such as Windows Server, Hyper‑V, Active Directory, Entra ID, Group Policies, and File Services.
• You are confident in using Windows PowerShell and apply it routinely for administration and automation.
• You have basic hands‑on experience in operating hybrid infrastructures consisting of on‑premises, multi-cloud, and hybrid cloud environments, as well as services such as IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS, including their integration.
• You bring experience in working with external service providers and partners and are able to manage them in a structured manner.
• In addition, you work analytically, in a structured and independent way, and maintain an overview even in complex situations.
• You impress with strong communication skills, the ability to work well in a team, and a high level of responsibility.
• Fluent German and English skills, both written and spoken, complete your profile.
