IT System Administrator (m/f/d)
TASKS
- Configuration, installation, and maintenance of hardware and software components, including operating systems, databases, networks, and applications.
- Administration of user accounts, access rights, and group policies in Active Directory or comparable directory and administration services.
- Implementation, control, and maintenance of security measures such as firewalls, virus protection, encryption, and access controls.
- Troubleshooting technical problems through error analysis, diagnosis, and rapid resolution of hardware, software, and network issues.
- Preparation and commissioning of information technology hardware, installation, and configuration of operating systems, software, transmission media, interfaces, and server services.
- Documentation of system changes, problem solutions, and maintenance work to track and improve the IT infrastructure.
- Primary point of contact for employees regarding support requests, with responsibility for maintaining the ticket system.
PROFILE
- Completed training or studies in computer science, information technology, or a comparable qualification.
- Sound knowledge of network administration, server configuration, and system security.
- Excellent knowledge of operating systems such as Windows Server, Linux, or Unix, as well as experience with virtualization technologies like VMware or Hyper-V.
- Good communication skills and the ability to explain complex technical concepts understandably.
- Team player with the ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team.
- Willingness to engage in continuous learning and familiarize with new technologies and best practices.
- Proficiency in written and spoken German; good command of English is desirable.
- Solid knowledge of common products from Microsoft, Veeam, and VMware.
