IT System Administrator (m/f/d)

Your Tasks

• Configuration and installation of modern IT infrastructures - from hardware and software to network connections.
• Administration and maintenance of the Microsoft-based server landscape including virtualization with VMware.
• Operation and maintenance of security solutions such as firewalls, anti-virus and anti-spam systems to secure our IT.
• Supporting the hybrid Exchange system (cloud and on-premise) and carrying out regular data backups with VEEAM
• Management of mobile devices and data, including inventory and license management of hardware and software
• Responsibility for the smooth operation of telecommunications systems.
• First point of contact at the User Help Desk - including analysis and resolution of faults as well as support for questions relating to Microsoft 365.
• Participation in the optimization of existing IT systems as well as active participation in the conception and implementation of future-oriented IT projects
  
  

Your Profile

• You have several years of experience in system administration and feel confident in dealing with complex IT infrastructures.
• You see yourself as a networked "doer" and keep an overview even with a high workload.
• You know how to respond to your colleagues' need for information and use this as a basis for developing quick, effective individual solutions.
• You understand how to make IT security applicable in practice thanks to your strong understanding of the configuration of firewalls (ideally SOPHOS), VLANs, L3 switches (preferably HPE) as well as antivirus and antispam systems.
• You communicate confidently in both German and English and understand how to present complex content to a user in an understandable way.
• Desirable, but not a must: knowledge of SQL, experience in mobile device management, working with SharePoint, as well as enthusiasm for music or audio technology.
