The job

We are looking for an IT technician for user support (m/f/d) in the city of Oldenburg for our long-standing and renowned customer from the IT service industry.

The tasks

  • On-site support of a heterogeneous IT environment in a scientific setting
  • Support for users with technical questions and problems in IT
  • Installation, configuration, and maintenance of hardware and software components
  • Documentation of customer inquiries and solutions
The requirements

  • Completed vocational training in the IT sector or a comparable qualification
  • Professional experience in the service desk or similar IT roles is preferred
  • Experience supporting larger IT environments using common tools like ticket systems
  • Good knowledge of operating systems and standard software, with a focus on Microsoft clients; Linux knowledge is an advantage
  • Good communication skills and an independent working style
  • Proficiency in written and spoken German, EU citizenship, and a valid driver’s license
  • Excellent customer service skills, a professional appearance, and respectful communication are essential
