We are seeking an IT Support Specialist (m/f/d) to join the IT solutions and support team at Luxendo GmbH in Heidelberg, Germany.

Our products, such as the HIVE data repository and high-end research workstations, provide cutting-edge IT infrastructure for researchers. The HIVE offers high-speed data management, visualization, remote access, and scalability, while our microscopy solutions require advanced workstations for image data processing. Aufgaben/Verantwortlichkeiten

• Customer support via email and phone (1st and 2nd level support)
• Integrate HIVE and other IT solutions with local networks
• Manufacture customized server and workstation solutions
• Deploy and configure Windows Server
• Test installations using scripts/PowerShell
• Create and manage OS images
• Maintain documentation
• Process warranty cases
• Support installation and service remotely and onsite (up to 10% travel)

Qualifikationen

Qualifications and Skills

• Degree in computer science, business informatics, Fachinformatiker, or equivalent experience
• Proficiency in Windows system administration and Windows Server management
• Strong IT support background
• Experience with network infrastructure
• Knowledge of backup systems and data recovery
• Script writing skills (e.g., Bash, CMD, PowerShell) are a plus
• Linux knowledge is advantageous
• Relevant certifications are a plus
• Fluent in English; German skills are beneficial
