We are seeking an IT Support Specialist (m/f/d) to join the IT solutions and support team at Luxendo GmbH in Heidelberg, Germany.

Our products, such as the HIVE data platform and high-end research workstations, are designed to provide researchers with advanced IT infrastructure that is user-friendly. The HIVE acts as a high-speed data repository, streamlining data processing and analysis workflows. Aufgaben/Verantwortlichkeiten

• Customer support via email and phone (1st and 2nd level support)
• Integrate HIVE and other IT solutions with local IT networks
• Manufacture customized server and workstation solutions
• Deploy and configure Windows Server
• Test installations using scripts / PowerShell
• Create and manage OS images
• Maintain documentation
• Handle warranty cases
• Install, support, and service remotely and onsite (travel up to 10%)

Qualifikationen

Qualifications and Skills

• Degree in computer science, business informatics, Fachinformatiker, or equivalent experience
• Proficiency in Windows system administration and Windows Server management
• Strong IT support background
• Experience with network infrastructure
• Knowledge of backup systems and data recovery
• Scriptwriting skills (e.g., Bash, CMD, PowerShell) are a plus
• Linux knowledge is advantageous
• Relevant certifications are a plus
• Fluent in English (written and verbal); German is an advantage
