For one of our clients in Frechen, we are seeking a skilled and customer-focused IT Support Specialist to provide L1 and L2 technical support for end users. The role involves handling service desk tickets, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, and ensuring timely resolution in line with defined Service Level Agreements (SLAs). We are looking for someone fluent in both German and English who is capable of delivering high-quality onsite support during business hours. The role is hybrid and would require 3 days of on-site presence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Respond to and resolve IT support requests submitted via phone or self-service portal (ServiceNow).
  • Provide on-site technical support for desktops, laptops, mobile devices, printers, and other hardware.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Windows OS, macOS, LAN/WAN, VPN, and software applications.
  • Escalate complex issues to appropriate teams while maintaining ownership of the ticket.
  • Ensure compliance with SLA targets for response and resolution times:
  • Maintain accurate records of support activities in ServiceNow.
  • Support IT asset lifecycle management and user access management (IAM).
  • Collaborate with the central IT Helpdesk and local IT teams.
