IT support employee/

IT Administrator (m/f/d)

As an IT employee (m/f/d), you are the first point of contact for technical questions and problems from our internal and external users. You will provide important support to ensure a smooth IT infrastructure and contribute to the optimization of our IT services.

Your Tasks

  • Receiving and processing inquiries by phone, email or via our ticket system, including documentation and classification of incidents for the entire site
  • Initial error analysis and troubleshooting for standard problems such as password resets, network problems and printer errors
  • Processing more complex IT faults and carrying out detailed fault analyses
  • Support with software and hardware problems as well as the procurement and management of hardware and software
  • Management, maintenance and optimization of the network architecture (LAN, WAN, WLAN, VPN, firewall)
  • Support and configuration of routers, switches and firewalls (e.g. Ubiquiti, Fortinet, Sophos)
  • Administration of virtualization solutions (VMware, Hyper-V)
  • Close cooperation with external service providers and escalation to 3rd level support if necessary
  • Support and maintenance of IT workstation systems, including PCs, laptops, mobile devices and printers
  • Implementation and further development of IT security guidelines and corresponding employee training

Documentation of IT systems and processes

  • Management of user accounts and access rights in Microsoft Active Directory and other systems

Your Profile

  • Completed training or studies in the IT sector (e.g. IT specialist for system integration, IT administration or comparable)
  • Several years of professional experience in IT support or a similar position
  • Sound knowledge of Microsoft Windows operating systems, Office applications and common network technologies
  • Strong service orientation and excellent communication skills
  • Analytical thinking and a structured way of working
  • Patience and empathy in dealing with users
  • Good written and spoken German and English skills
  • Willingness to occasionally be on call or work outside regular working hours
