Job Title: IT Desktop Support (backfill)

Location: Frankfurt, Germany

Job Requirements:

Technical:

  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience providing IT infrastructure support, including troubleshooting hardware, software, and OS issues, ensuring compliance with hardware warranties and security policies.
  • Experience in installing, troubleshooting, and repairing desktops, printers, laptops, and peripherals, along with desktop applications.
  • Basic knowledge of enterprise LAN and WAN configurations.
  • Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting/moving equipment up to 50 lbs.
  • Proficiency in desk-side support, PC repair, and basic administration of Windows, MAC, and Linux OS (preferred).
  • Knowledge of TCP/IP networking, DNS, DHCP, VPN, and RDP.
  • Support for peripheral and network hardware, including monitors, keyboards, mice, printers, fax machines, scanners, routers, switches, firewalls, racks, and data panels.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills for systems and network issues, including end-user cabling problems.
  • Experience in call analysis, preventive actions, and problem management.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with clients and management.
