Our Team, IT Strategy and Digital Initiatives, is looking for an IT Strategy Analyst.

We are seeking a passionate individual who can bridge business and new technologies to unlock value, support innovation, entrepreneurship, and deliver value to our customers and consumers. The role involves diverse tasks and stakeholders, requiring proactivity, independence, leadership, curiosity, and offering opportunities to contribute to various strategic initiatives within the group.

This position is preferably based in Munich, Germany, or alternatively in one of our European offices such as Gothenburg, Lisbon, Hamburg, or Barcelona. The successful candidate will join the IT Strategy and Digital Initiatives team and work closely with the VP of IT Strategy and Business Technology.

As a key member of the IT Strategy team, you will engage with all levels of IT and key business stakeholders to shape and implement an IT Strategy aligned with business outcomes, maximizing the value derived from available technologies and making a meaningful impact.

This will involve overseeing a portfolio of IT initiatives—both business-led and IT-led—that drive business progress.

Understanding the business value chain, you will monitor, report, and identify areas for improvement and how to realize them.

Essity emphasizes sustainability—both for people and the planet—as a critical part of its objectives. IT plays a vital role in enabling this sustainability for the broader business while ensuring the IT function itself delivers results.

As part of a small yet dynamic team, you will also participate in other strategic initiatives covering both business and IT areas.
