In our Competence Center IT & Digital, we are looking for an IT Specialist in Workload Automation (m/f/d). This position can be filled in Mannheim, Fürth, or Stuttgart.

• Implement new and modify existing batch processes in SAP, VSE, Unix, Windows, and OS400 using our APX scheduling system.
• Create and maintain scripts or JCL on the platforms mentioned, along with related documentation.
• Process service requests, incidents, and tickets in the environment mentioned above.
• Monitor job executions, report or resolve job aborts in collaboration with business, developers, and system engineers.
• Participate in various national and international IT projects.

Your Profile

• Apprenticeship or degree as an IT specialist or comparable qualification.
• Good knowledge of at least one scripting language in UNIX, mainframe, or Windows environments and understanding of the underlying systems.
• Strong analytical skills and an independent, goal-oriented work approach.
• Experience with job scheduling systems like APX, UC4, Control-M, or TWS is desirable.
• Participation in on-call or night shift rotations.
• Good business and technical English skills; German skills are a plus.
