Key responsibilities
ABB Ausbildungszentrum gGmbH Berlin, is an educational service provider of ABB Germany for dual training occupations. Vocational training focuses on the areas of metal and electrical engineering and mechatronics. We support our customers from the ABB business units as well as approx. 150 cooperation companies from Berlin and Brandenburg with modern and high-quality basic training for their trainees. Our success is based on qualified and committed trainers who use innovative teaching methods and individualised support for the trainees to impart both technical content and social skills! - Conducting practical and theoretical training for trainees
- Creating training documents, training plans and training modules
- Imparting knowledge and skills in accordance with the training regulations and internal training plan and carrying out performance assessments of trainees.
- Supporting trainees in preparing for exams and in company and external projects
- Supporting trainees in the development of technical, methodological and social skills
- Collaboration with the cooperating companies, vocational schools and the relevant IHKs
- Preparing and implementing new teaching and learning concepts in relation to digitalization
Qualifications for the role- Completed studies in IT or comparable completed training in an IT-related field
- Several years of professional experience in an IT-related field, ideally in vocational training
- Enthusiasm for working with trainees as well as pedagogical, didactic and methodological skills and competencies
- Strong communication skills, ability to work in a team as well as service and customer orientation
- Business fluent in German and very good written and spoken English skills
- Independent and self-reliant way of working and willingness to learn
