Your prospective job:

For our international client in the aviation and space programs industry, we are looking for you as an IT Specialist (m/f/d) Application Developer in Bremen. You will support the team developing critical engineering applications.

Your responsibilities:

• Ownership of existing and new engineering applications (versions, codebases, database and systems security)
• Bridging the gap between infrastructure and software
• Developing software solutions from external developers for various environments (e.g., test, staging, production)
• Participating in internal and external IT projects (quality assurance, verification, implementation of new features)
• Software testing, bug fixes, and identifying opportunities using tools (e.g., Selenium)
• Code review (JavaScript, C#), troubleshooting, and testing changes implemented by external development partners

Your profile:

• A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• Professional experience in IT operations, application support, or comparable qualifications
• Technical proficiency in Windows Server, Linux Server, and SQL Server administration
• Experience with version control systems, e.g., GitLab
• Experience building SQL-based reports (e.g., SSRS, Power BI)
• Scripting abilities, particularly with PowerShell
• Experience with application troubleshooting, coding, and debugging (SQL, JavaScript, C#, JSON) is a plus
• Familiarity with the .NET / C# technology stack is beneficial
• Basic knowledge of ITIL frameworks; ITIL certification is a plus
• Understanding of infrastructure concepts and system architectures is preferred
• Very good English language skills; good German skills, spoken and written
