Holcim Technical Solutions and Products GmbH offers a wide range of rubber sheeting material for various applications including potable water and the medical/analytical sector. We also develop and produce unique non-textile floor covering (NTF) materials for the aviation industry. About The Role (In English)

MAIN ACTIVITIES / RESPONSIBILITIES

• Active participation in ensuring the smooth operation of the entire IT system landscape
• Professional support of the IT infrastructure
• Participation in the selection, procurement, installation and documentation of hardware and software
• Carrying out patch installations or updates of 3rd-party software on servers
• Conception and maintenance of all services of a Windows network
• Continuous improvement of the system landscape and, if necessary, support in the implementation of new solutions
• Provision of infrastructure and administration of virtual servers
• Support with IT end-user support at Edingen-Neckarhausen
• Support for local and global IT projects
• Collaborate with global support teams

PROFILE REQUIRED

• Completed training as an IT Specialist in System Integration or a related field, with a strong background in user or customer support.
• Proficient in network technologies (LAN, WAN, VLAN, VPN) and Windows Server versions from 2008 to the present; familiarity with Cisco technologies is an asset.
• Hands-on experience with tools such as Navision, ServiceNow, and Google Workspace is a plus.
• Demonstrates an independent, proactive, and forward-thinking approach with a comprehensive, 360-degree perspective.
• Possesses excellent teamwork and communication skills, along with a high degree of initiative, resilience, flexibility, and a strong sense of responsibility.
• Eager and enthusiastic about tackling new and complex challenges.
• Proficient in written and spoken English (minimum B1 level).
• Proficient in written and spoken German (minimum C1 level).
• Experience in IT project management, site relocations, or implementing new sites is a plus.
• IT support experience in manufacturing environments.
