Job summary

HELM Pharmaceuticals in Hamburg is seeking a Senior IT Support Technician to strengthen our Corporate IT team and support locations in Germany, Portugal, and Switzerland.

You will provide local end-user support, manage Microsoft 365 and AI tools like Copilot/Claude, coordinate with external IT service providers, and contribute to IT infrastructure development within our international carve-out.

Qualifications

• Completed vocational training or a degree in computer science, IT system administration, IT support, or a related field.
• At least five years of professional experience in IT support, IT service desk, or end-user support.
• Very good knowledge of Windows, Microsoft 365, Active Directory, LAN/WLAN, TCP/IP and VPN.
• Experience with IT service management processes and ticket systems.
• Experience in regulated environments is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide first- and second-level IT support for users in Germany, Portugal, and Switzerland.
• Manage Windows desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and Microsoft 365 apps.
• Administer user accounts, permissions, and workplace technologies.

At HELM Pharmaceuticals in Hamburg, we develop high-quality generic drugs for international markets. To strengthen our Corporate IT team, we are looking for an experienced Senior IT Support Technician (m/f/d) to support our locations in Germany, Portugal, and Switzerland.

In this role, you will provide local end-user support, manage modern workplace technologies based on Microsoft 365 and Microsoft Copilot, coordinate with external IT service providers, and support the ongoing development of our IT infrastructure as part of our international carve-out.

Your Responsibilities:

Your Profile

• Completed vocational training or a degree in computer science, IT system administration, IT support, or a related field
• At least five years of professional experience in IT support, IT service desk, or end-user support
• Very good knowledge of: Windows, Microsoft 365, Active Directory, LAN / WLAN, TCP/IP and VPN
• Workstation and End-User Device Technologies
• Experience with IT service management processes and ticket systems
• Good knowledge of IT security and user management
• Experience in regulated environments (e.g., pharmaceutical, healthcare, or life sciences) is a plus
• Excellent command of German and English
• Experience working professionally with AI-powered workplace solutions such as Microsoft Copilot, Claude, or similar applications
• Strong service orientation, ability to work independently, and excellent problem-solving skills
