Your mission

For our partner company Biofidus AG in Bielefeld we are looking for an IT Service & Support Employee (m/f/d). The training for this position will primarily take place at our headquarters in Ingelheim and occasionally in Bielefeld. After the induction phase, the work location will mainly be in Bielefeld with regular work periods in Ingelheim.

The position includes in particularly:

  • IT support helpdesk, MS-Office 365, system administration, mobile devices
  • Installation and configuration of new workstations and preparation of IT equipment for new employees (smartphone setup, notebook, PC, other peripherals)
  • Independent rectification or forwarding and follow-up of faults
  • General operational support, processing various commercial and technical tasks
  • Carrying out application tests, error analyses and documentation
  • Various administrative tasks (e.g. inventory, IT purchasing, etc.)
  • Service, maintenance and commissioning of computer systems and their documentation
  • Advice and support for users
  • Support in IT projects
  • Collaboration in communication and application projects
  • Support in the area of interfaces between the network and laboratory equipment


Your profile
  • Completed training as an IT clerk, IT specialist or comparable and at least 2 years of professional experience in IT service & support
  • Strong organizational skills, high level of independence and initiative
  • High work accuracy and reliability as well as a friendly and self-confident demeanor
  • Very good German and good written and spoken English skills
  • Knowledge of laboratory equipment and systems (e.g. LIMS) is an advantage
  • Basic network knowledge (switching, routing, VPN) is desirable
