Job summary

Siemens in Munich seeks a senior professional to lead end-to-end delivery, performance, and improvement of critical OT services across factory environments.

You will shape the long-term service vision and roadmap, ensure high reliability and security, and align with business goals, compliance, and cybersecurity standards. Fluent English is required, and experience with ITIL processes in industrial settings is essential.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in a technical field as listed.
• 10+ years leading large-scale network transformations or factory modernization.
• Solid IT/OT networking knowledge including L2/L3 switching, firewalls, VLANs.
• Deep ITIL knowledge and application in industrial settings.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end accountability for OT services delivery, performance and improvement.
• Ensure OT services operate with high reliability and security aligned to business goals.
• Define and drive long-term service vision, strategy, and roadmaps for OT.
• Oversight of service performance: uptime, SLAs, KPIs and quality.
• Guide architecture alignment for all OT services.
• Implement ITIL-based processes for requests, incidents, problems and changes in OT.
• Coordinate multi-provider operations for cross-team alignment.
• Ensure compliance with corporate standards, target architectures and cybersecurity guidelines.
• Oversee service documentation including SOPs, SLAs and architecture blueprints.
• Prepare executive-level reporting on KPIs, risks and investments.
• Foster strong stakeholder relationships across IT, OT, cybersecurity and vendors.

Responsibilities

• You assume end-to-end accountability for the delivery, performance, quality, and continuous improvement of critical OT services across factory and production environments.
• You ensure that all OT services operate with high reliability and security while strictly aligning with business goals, compliance frameworks, and cybersecurity requirements.
• You define and drive the long-term service vision, strategy, and roadmap, ensuring a seamless synchronization with overall business and smart-factory needs.
• You oversee overall service performance, closely monitoring uptime, SLAs, KPIs, and service quality.
• You guide and manage the structural architecture alignment for all operational technology services.
• You implement and optimize robust, ITIL-based standard processes with a clear focus on request, incident, problem, and change management within OT environments.
• You coordinate and orchestrate complex multi-provider operations to drive cross-team alignment.
• You guarantee full compliance with defined corporate standards, target architectures, cybersecurity guidelines, and industrial regulatory requirements.
• You oversee comprehensive service documentation, including SOPs, SLAs, service catalogs, and architecture blueprints.
• You monitor service performance continuously and prepare executive-level reporting covering KPIs, risks, improvements, and investment needs.
• You foster strong, trusted stakeholder relationships across IT and OT teams, cybersecurity units, factory operations, and external vendors.

Qualifications

• Education: You bring a completed Master’s degree in (Business) Informatics, Electrical Engineering, Automation Technology, or a comparable technical discipline.
• Experience & Skills
  • You look back on 10+ years of proven experience successfully leading large-scale network transformations or complex factory modernization projects.
  • You possess a solid, practical understanding of IT and OT network technologies, including L2/L3 switching, firewalls, VLANs, routing, and network segmentation.
  • You demonstrate deep familiarity with factory automation, industrial network devices, and shopfloor connectivity.
  • You have deep knowledge of ITIL processes and their application in industrial settings.

  • You excel through excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • You bring valuable experience working within and orchestrating multi-provider environments.
