Job summary

Siemens AG in Germany seeks a strategy and market intelligence leader to shape long-term plans, acting as a trusted advisor to management across strategic matters. You will identify and capture future business opportunities and coordinate programs aligned with executive goals.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent with many years of experience in electrical infrastructure, grids, components and operations.
• Deep understanding of data center infrastructure and technologies.
• Proven track record in strategy and/or business development, with experience in consultancy, sales, operations, or M&A.
• Experience working in cross-functional, multicultural, global teams.
• Strong project management and presentation skills tailored for senior management and boards.
• Highly analytical and curious with a drive for measurable business growth; willingness to travel; fluent in English.

Responsibilities

• Design and coordinate strategic plans, programs, and initiatives at business or regional levels, aligned with executive goals.
• Coordinate implementation of core business strategies, guidelines, and principles across the organization.
• Analyze and optimize the business's strategic positioning and portfolio development.
• Lead market intelligence, competitor monitoring, benchmarking projects, and end-to-end market studies including global market research and investment strategies.
• Lead and coordinate M&A activities, including deal books, and initiate strategic external growth initiatives.
• Initiate and lead strategy consulting projects while developing advanced business management and analysis tools.

• You and your team of strategy and market intelligence professionals design and coordinate strategic plans, programs, and initiatives at business or regional levels, ensuring full alignment with overarching executive goals.
• You coordinate the implementation of core business strategies, guidelines, and principles across the assigned organization.
• You and your team continuously analyze and optimize the business's overall strategic positioning, providing expert guidance on the long-term development of our product, service, or solutions portfolio.
• You are responsible for driving market intelligence, competitor monitoring, and analysis, while coordinating impactful benchmarking projects.
• You are responsible for leading comprehensive market studies and steering the end-to-end market intelligence process, including global market research and investment strategies.
• You lead and coordinate M&A activities, including the M&A deal book, and initiate targeted strategic initiatives for external growth.
• You initiate and lead strategy consulting projects while developing and implementing state-of-the-art business management and analysis tools.

Your defining qualities

• You have a Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering or an equivalent field, and many years of experience in electrical infrastructure and a solid understanding of grids, their components, and operations.
• You have a deep understanding of data center infrastructure and technologies.
• You have a proven track record of many years in strategy and/or business development roles, complemented by experience in consultancy, sales, operations, or M&A activities.
• You have demonstrated success working within cross-functional teams and navigating multicultural, global organizations.
• You have strong project management skills coupled with exceptional presentation techniques tailored for senior management and board levels.
• You are highly analytical and naturally curious, with a passion for driving measurable impact, a collaborative spirit, and a strong drive for business growth.
• Willingness to travel and proficiency in English complete your profile.
