Responsibilities:

• Plan, implement and manage comprehensive security solutions for IT systems and networks based on existing security policies, standards and procedures.
• Monitor network security and perform proactive security audits.
• Provide second and third level support for IT security services.
• Identify security gaps through detailed analyses and penetration tests and support the specialist department in remediating them.
• Respond to security incidents and support forensic investigations.
• Advise and train the team in effective IT security measures and best practices.

Experience & Know-how:

• Several years of professional experience in the field of IT security or in a similar position as well as knowledge in conducting vulnerability analyses.

Personality & Work Method:

• High level of self-motivation, analytical thinking, strong problem-solving skills, and effective communication of technical information to non-technical stakeholders, both independently and collaboratively as part of a team.

Technical Skills:

• In-depth knowledge of network security, firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS, XDR tools and encryption technologies as well as experience with security management and monitoring tools and endpoint protection.

Language:

• Fluent written and spoken English, knowledge of German desirable.

Nice-to-Have:

• Degree in computer science or IT security, SIEM knowledge, experience in the automation of IT security solutions.
