We are seeking a skilled IT Security Analyst (f / m / d) to join our team. This role is REMOTE, although initially, travel to our sites across Germany (Neuss / Stuttgart / Speyer, etc.) will be required. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting IT audits across our sites and assessing the effectiveness of our company's information security controls and procedures.

About the role

How you will contribute :

  1. Conduct audits and assessments of information security controls and procedures to identify vulnerabilities and weaknesses.
  2. Evaluate the effectiveness of existing controls and procedures; recommend improvements to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of our information assets.
  3. Provide technical advice and guidance to stakeholders on information security matters.
  4. Identify and assess risks related to the use, processing, storage, and transmission of sensitive information.
  5. Develop and maintain policies, procedures, and guidelines related to information security.
  6. Prepare reports summarizing findings, recommendations, and remediation plans.
  7. Collaborate with stakeholders to implement remediation plans and track progress.
  8. Stay up-to-date with the latest information security threats, vulnerabilities, and technologies.
  9. Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in information security auditing, risk management, or a related field.
  • Extensive knowledge of information security frameworks and standards such as ISO 27001, TISAX, NIST, and GDPR.
  • Experience with auditing tools and techniques, including vulnerability scanners, penetration testing, and social engineering.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Fluent in German is a distinct benefit but not essential.
  • Professional certifications such as CISSP, CISA, CISM, or CRISC.
  • Experience with cloud security, DevOps, and container security.
  • Experience with regulatory compliance such as PCI-DSS, HIPAA, or SOX.
  • Experience with security incident response and forensics.
