IT Specialist in Finance & Controlling

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the further development and support of solutions in the Finance & Controlling area
  • Coordinate and prioritize business requests with respective departments
  • Align solutions with overall IT architecture following SAP standards and best practices
  • Implement change requests for projects and maintenance
  • Manage incidents and problems in the domain
  • Conduct trainings and workshops
  • Support the implementation of the IT strategy for the domain
  • Lead sub-projects in the Finance & Controlling area
  • Manage external employees and service providers as needed

Qualifications

  • Degree in business administration, industrial engineering, information technology, or comparable qualification (e.g., IHK business administrator or IT specialist)
  • Relevant experience in a similar role
  • Specific experience with SAP FI and CO modules
  • Knowledge of ABAP and ABAP-OO programming is advantageous
  • Process knowledge from the chemical or similar industries is beneficial
  • Knowledge of ITIL, COBIT, or similar methodologies
  • Proficient in O365 products
  • Self-motivated, service-oriented, and results-driven
  • Fluent in written and spoken English
  • Willingness to travel approximately 10%
