Job Description

Primary Function of Position :

The primary function of the Regional IT Hardware Asset Administrator is to efficiently manage and oversee the entire lifecycle of IT hardware assets within the EMEA region. This role encompasses a variety of responsibilities essential to maintaining an organized and effective IT asset inventory. The administrator plays a critical role in ensuring that IT hardware assets are effectively managed, from procurement to disposal, to support the organization's operational needs and strategic goals.

Roles and Responsibilities :

  • Procurement, Receipt, and Storage : The administrator is responsible for the procurement of IT assets, ensuring that all purchased equipment is received, stored, and managed properly.
  • Issuing and Shipment : Timely issuance and shipment of IT assets to the relevant departments or personnel, ensuring that all hardware is delivered as needed.
  • E-Waste Coordination and Asset Reclaim : Assisting in the coordination of e-waste management and the reclamation of IT assets to ensure environmentally responsible disposal and efficient recovery of usable equipment.
  • Demand Forecasting and Planning : Forecasting equipment needs based on historical data and future demand, planning deliveries to meet these demands while monitoring inventory levels to avoid shortages or surplus.
  • New Hire and Termination Processes : Handling the setup and distribution of computers for new hires, as well as processing equipment for terminated employees and contractors.
  • Warranty Repairs and Re-imaging : In collaboration with local support teams, scheduling and performing warranty repairs for returned equipment, as well as imaging computers in accordance with replacement strategies and hiring forecasts.
  • Miscellaneous IT Support : Performing various other tasks and duties as required by the ITSS management team to support the overall IT environment.

  • Working knowledge of Windows / macOS and major computer components (e.g., desktop, laptop, monitor, keyboard)

Preferred :

  • Understanding and experience with computer imaging technologies
  • Experience using ServiceNow Incident and Asset Management
  • Experience using procurement and spend management software (Coupa, Ariba)
