Job summary

Retarus GmbH in Munich is seeking an IT Project Manager (m/f/d) to oversee both customer-facing and internal IT projects, including custom implementations and enhancements. You will drive efficiency, manage multiple IT operations and ensure projects meet scope, timelines, and quality standards.

The ideal candidate has at least 1 year in project management with Agile practices, familiarity with Jira and Confluence, ITIL knowledge, and strong German with good English.

Qualifications

• Completed education in an IT-related field or degree in Computer Science / IT.
• Specialization in IT Operations, Project Management, or Systems Engineering preferred.
• Minimum 2+ years of experience in IT operations or development.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in project management with Agile methods and tools like Confluence and Jira.
• Solid understanding of ITIL practices and IT process management.
• Strong command of German and good proficiency in English.

Responsibilities

• Oversee both customer-facing and internal IT projects, including custom implementations.
• Drive efficiency initiatives to streamline technical processes and improve performance.
• Manage multiple IT operations and customer projects, ensuring scope, timelines, and quality.
• Identify and mitigate risks, optimize customer experience and operational efficiency.

• In critical incidents, act as primary incident manager, ensuring rapid response, resolution, and communication.

What you'll do

In criticalincidents, you act as primary incident manager, ensuring rapid response,resolution, and communication.

What you'll need
