Did you earn your stripes in Project Management for large IT projects in a customer-focused role, preferably within a contract logistics environment? Are you an experienced IT Project Manager who can interface effectively between the customer and our technical team, specifically in Applications Development and Infrastructure projects? Your responsibilities

1. Manage multiple global IT customer projects simultaneously in the automotive & technology verticals.
2. Provide detailed project planning & workstream allocations for all involved parties.
3. Determine the scope for each IT project and proactively manage adherence to scope.
4. Determine resource requirements for all projects with the appropriate IT workstream owners.
5. Identify Issues / Risks for all projects.
6. Coordinate activities with each workstream lead.
7. Communicate effectively with all major stakeholders involved in the projects.
8. Provide status level reporting for all active projects.
9. Liaise with internal and external customers to provide project status reporting and visibility.
10. Manage escalations within the IT Function to ensure timely responses to issues / risks.
11. Facilitate the definition of requirements, acceptance, and implementation of IT business solutions to meet customer expectations.
12. Serve as liaison / point of contact between operations management and IT (software development, QA, DBA’s & infrastructure teams).
13. Manage, diagnose, and prioritize issue logging in conjunction with Business Project Manager.
14. Proactively manage risks / issues in advance of occurrence.
15. Manage change control on all active projects.
16. Support continuous process improvement throughout the project delivery lifecycle.
17. Conform to the processes and requirements of the synchronized management system.
18. Achieve effectiveness of the synchronized management system by following the Quality Policy and meeting company objectives.

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent in a relevant business or technical subject.
• Fluent in German and English.
• Experience with core WMS capabilities and requirements.
• Experience as a Software Development Lead or WMS Solution / Delivery Lead.
• Knowledge of logistics supply chain design and development tools and techniques.
• Professional Project Management Qualification e.g., Prince2 / PMI.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience managing significant IT projects including site launches.
• Minimum 5 years in a logistics environment with operational, project management, or solution design experience.
